Incident Report for Stripe QA 2

Resolved

What’s changing?

On August 18, 2025, PNC Bank implemented a policy change that will cause some ACH payments and payouts to fail. The new policy causes the ACH payment credential for instantly verified bank accounts to expire 12-months after they are initially added. Impacted PNC bank accounts will no longer be eligible for payments or payouts after expiry and customers will need to update their bank account.
